Aiming for the Sky: Walden III's Ceiling Tile Tradition

Painting ceiling tiles was a tradition that began when Walden was located on Center Street. Students who wanted to leave a piece of their own legacy at the school were allowed to paint a tile that would be displayed on one of the many classroom ceilings. Almost anywhere in the building, in both the West Wing and the New Building, one could look up and see a ceiling covered in artwork.
